We love this mount! We purchased it because initially we had portable DVD players that attached to the back of the driver/passenger seat; our toddler could reach it with her feet and eventually it quit working. So we purchased the mount to sit in the middle and she could no longer kick or reach it! Life savor!!! :)
We also love how easy it is to move from one vehicle to another!!

I have a SUV and this was over a foot too short. I later checked with another friend who had the same problem in her Jeep.

We have had this mount for approximately 6 months installed in our minivan and it has started falling apart and not holdingthe DVD player. I actually had the DVD player fall of during my last road trip (which was only 3 hours). I am still trying to find a different mount for our DVD player, but I would not recommend this mount to anyone that I know.
What's great about it: The only good thing about this mount is the ease of installing it in a vehicle.
What's not so great: poor design and construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
