How Often Used:1-2 times a week
useful to reduce ambient noise while listening. But very tinny sound, reminds of the old tiny, tinny speakers from old AM radio. Disappointing

Not worth wasting the money

How Often Used:Daily
I purchased a set for my son. After about 2 months one of the ear pieces stopped working. They were under warranty so Best Buy gave me a new pair. I then picked up another set for my other kid. After fours months the same thing happened to BOTH sets at the same time!!!
If you waste your money buying a set, make sure to pickup two, they will surely fail and you will hear the whining from your kids daily.

Not for kids

Maybe alright for adults but for kids who are constantly putting on and off their Ipods, they are not great. The headphones break within 3 months or so...the ear pieces come out and / or one side quits working. I have replaced them several times for my kids but won't buy this kind anymore for them.

What's not so great: break within 3 months or so
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How Often Used:Daily
I'm rough on headphones. I listen to podcasts on my commute and doing household chores to the tune of probably 20 hours per week. I walk about a lot and have had a lot of problems with earbuds with bad wires, weak connections, and not staying in. I've had these about 2 months and they've taken my punishment and still work well. They isolate the noise very well. No signs of the wires failing from being tugged or caught too many times yet. Because they fit my ears pretty well, I don't need the volume as high either, which I assume is good for my smartphone battery life.
What's great about it: price and durability
What's not so great: cable wrap would be nice to prevent tangles
I would recommend this to a friend!

The earbuds are pretty good considering I paid $6 on sale. The microphone and sound are average, and durability is good so far. I use them everyday during commute, work, gym, etc. and so far after 3 months, it still surviving. The controller located on the mic is the only down fall. It does not have volume controller and if you are using the headphones on your phone (android), you pretty much cannot select if you want to play your music or make a phone call to the last number you dial or missed call. If you want a good earbud controller stick to apple or similar.
