Fun with Updated Kitchen Appliances

Forgot how fun cooking could be. Just updated kitchen after 30+years of same appliances. While that's a testimony to the GE brand, it is wonderful to enjoy all the features of the new ceramic cooktops now. I especially love how quickly burners heat up or cool down. I think the locking feature is brilliant. I couldn't be happier with the look, feel and functionality of this unit.

I have had the cooktop for a week now and love it. The fast boil is wonderful. I love that I can lock it so I do not have to worry about accidently turning it on. Great feature!

So far so good. the burners heat up fast and we really like that you can lock the panel since we have cats.

had a similar GE drop in this one has burner configurations that make it impossible
to place multiple larger pans or pots a be at the center of the heating elements

My new GE cooktop

Owned a GE cooktop for about 7 years, electricity went out during storm & ruined it, bought this hoping would work as well...this one has 3 small burners and one only about 9 inches, I have large pans....I along with any of my friends or family who have used this have a terrible time trying to read the on/off and which burner, can barely see because the white paint or whatever is way too light, totally frustrating, never had this problem with my old cooktop....the power boil is fast which is appreciated but the other 3 smaller ones seem slow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
