Beautiful Cook Top with great features.

I like the option to lock the controls for cleaning as there are no knobs. The controls are easy to use and have soft beeping sounds to indicate a change. I also like how easy it is to warranty GE Appliances. You have made it very simple with the minimal amount of information. Thanks

Fire hazard

Installed the stovetop and within 3 days there was an electrical fire in the control unit. We removed it immediately. Returned it to place of purchase. Went to another store and got a far superior stovetop the we love.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heats up quickly and cooks evenly Also: Clean up is a breeze. ! WARNING ! Please Wait for unit to cool off before wiping down to avoid burns or cracking glass.

Cook top stove

We love the stove but now wish that there were a low intensity light to show the touch controls - something similar to the way the lock is lighted - with perhaps a toggle to switch it off.

Hard to see controls

I like the cooktop both in looks and cooking but the touchscreen should have illumination when off . You can’t see the darn controls.
