I don't see any great features.

I am very disappointed with this purchase. During the holidays when I do a lot of cooking, it was difficult to get four pots on this stove. It is very difficult to see the on/off features because they are written so lightly. Even with my glasses on, I have to turn on the hood light to read them. I am learning how to cook on it an adjust the temperatures.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just okay. Installation was a breeze. Controls are hard to see. Once we become used to it; it should be a non-issue. It's quick and you need to re-adjust your cook times. Be prepared for a new exercise regime; wax on....wax off.

Good could be better

This cooktop is a good example of GE product quality, However ; the layout is flawed. Too much space is given to the largest double burner while squeezing the other 3 burners into an odd configuration. The synchronized grill feature can not be used with the burner next to it safely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Efficient cook top with easy to use controls.

This cook top was easy for my wife and I to install. The directions were easy to follow and the unit fit into the counter top cut out. The unit is easy to use and the controls are finger touch sensitive. The only consideration others may have is that the right front double burner is set back further than some other units. Lastly, before purchasing this unit, you will need to measure the depth of the electrical unit on the underside of the cook top. This depth may impact the use of a drawer that might be below the cook top. Despite this issue, my wife and I "adapted" the drawer below the cook top and it works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a replacement for an induction cooktop that died after 6 years of use. So far this has been a great electric radiant cooktop (GE JP5030DJ2BB), and I prefer it over the induction cooktop, it is hard to find pans for induction and very expensive. The only thing I miss on the induction is that it cools a lot faster.
I like that you can adjust the burner size on the large burner, and you can synchronize the left burners so you can use a griddel. Also like that this model has no knobs which makes clean up so much easier and looks better.
The cooktop lockout is great if you have small children or grandkids, and comes in handy when you clean the cooktop which is a good looking cooktop.
Very satisfied with the purchase.

Easy to use but hard to see how to turn on and off without having lights on. Also could use another large burner instead of 3 small ones.

Very touchy display

Make sure to LOCK the control panel. The panel is very sensitive. Just cleaning the top of the stove turned it on. I have cats and can not even imagine what would have happened if they walked on top of the stove and accidentally turned it on. And the only burner that works well is the Large Burner, the other 3 Small Burners just don’t preform well. Once again I can not believe the MONEY I spent on this and now I’m stuck with a Cooktop AND Oven that are just not preforming as they should. Very Disappointed with both.

Difficult to see controls & very hard to clean

Again, the controls are nearly impossible to see especially while stovetop in use and something is spilled on it. It is also very difficult to clean!
