Improved design

I purchased this cooktop to replace my 16 year old ge smooth cooktop. I like the layout with the centralized controls because it offers more room when using larger pots and do pans. The controls on my older mod were on the right side, leaving the burners crowded. I am hoping to get many years of use from this as well!

I like the features though it is taking me a little bit to understand how to set the burners . I like the ease of clean-up and how it is so easy to keep clean!

Nice cooktop!

Overall, I really like this cooktop. The LG I had before was less intuitive, so this one is an improvement. Easy to use and clean. Like all glass cooktops you have to keep it wiped down & polished to look good. Only complaint I have is the rear right burner control isn't aligned w burner, so I always turn on wrong one. I really like the built-in timer feature.
