Beautiful and Functional

A 6 quart pot will achieve a rolling boil in 7 min, 20 sec. Easy to clean any mess with Weiman or CeramaBrite products and procedures. Simmer temp is perfect. Have not cooked using the 2 burner platter setting, but tested fine.

Sleek design for a clean kitchen

We went back and forth about which cook-top to get for our new kitchen. We could'nt be happier with the GE. We especially love how it's sleek all digital design makes it almost flush with the counter, no knobs. It's easy to use.

Much more modern cooktop than I had

This cooktop replaced a more than 30 year old cooktop that was original to this house. I like that it heats up quickly and that i can connect two burners if I need to use an extra large pan. I am having a little issue with the sensitivity of the controls. When I wipe the top to clean it, a burner has turned on. I quickly turned it off, but was caught by surprise.

The GE Cooktop is very nice. I like the features of the touch on/off controls. It makes cleanup easy. This cooktop was a replacement for a 23 year old GE downdraft cooktop. The installation created some extra work to make the unit fit properly. I would recommend ordering the trim kit when you order the cooktop unit if you are replacing your cooktop. I wasn't aware of the trim kit until we were ready to install the cooktop. We had to halt our installation and order the trim kit and then wait on it to arrive. This added an extra week to our installation. Not sure why the trim kit isn't just included with the purchase of the cooktop.

Great cooktop

We upgraded from an older GE radiant electric cooktop with knobs. I love to clean my glass cooktop after each use, but the knobs were always in the way. We now have touch control with no knobs! The linked burners are a great addition also. We can now use our griddle and link up the burners for even heat.
