We bought this to replace a GE cooktop that we had for 22 years. We knew the product was reliable since we had no problem with the old unit all of that time until recently when we couldn’t regulate the cooking temperature on two burners. Definitely GE cooktops reliability.

Super fast heating, love it!

This cooktop has amazingly fast heating, we just love it - even my teenage daughter started cooking because “it’s just so cool!”

Heats & cools quickly

The controls are too sensitive to turning on and off, and the info on the controls is too faint to be read easily. As the population grows older, GE might want to rethink that. We bought this because 1, it replaced a 15-yr old GE cooktop that was pooping out and one we liked; and 2, it fit into the counter w/ its standard dimensions.

Great Features easy to Clean

No Knobs! We like that you can lock the burners. This allows us to clean without worrying about a burner clicking on. So far it has been easy to clean. We are enjoying this cooktop in our new kitchen.

It’s pretty easy to install/operate and so far it works as expected. The only complaint is the underpowered 2 7-inch SyncBurners.
