power grill easy to break down

We bought it in 2018. The power grill broke down in 2020 after one year warranty expired. It is the most expensive element of the product to replace. It cost, labor plus part, 2/3 of what I originally paid. Now in 2024 it broke down again. Not sure if it is worth fixing. Most cooktops are supposed to last 10 - 15 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible!! Do not buy!!

We absolutely hate this stove. The setup of the eyes does not use the space efficiently for starters. Next, it only has one large eye. Finally, it loves to turn itself off. If you set a hot lid down near the buttons, the whole stove shuts off. Hot water that has condensated on a hot lid drips onto the surface near the buttons, it's all going off. Very annoying to come back to check on your simmering food to find it's just off. Can you have wet fingers and operate the buttons? No, no you can't. It came with the house we purchased, but it is on the list of things to replace. Worse design ever!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
