Awesome Picture!

We have had this tv for about a month and the picture is incredible. Easy to use menus with the WIFI, Very happy overall. The only drawback is the sound it appears the speakers are facing down so the sound is directed to the floor., plan to purchase a sound bar along with it. Still a great deal even with that.

This is my second LG HDTV. I absolutely love the picture quality, sound, features, and apps; an outstanding value for the money. I HIGHLY recommend this TV. One suggestion would be to include the Magic Remote :-)

perfect tv for most homes

the size of the screen is perfect for the average living room/bedroom size if you follow the basic recommendation of viewing distance which ,for this set, is 11 ft. The only "drawback", if that, is it only has an "audio in" port for cable plugs which means, if you want to add an older external sound system opposed to an optical setup, you need to use a converter, a simple, inexpensive fix.
The picture resolution is excellent. The smart tv features are many and easy to use.
The price is an excellent value when compared to other smart tvs and LG has a great background in the tech end of the industry.

I actually went to the store to get a different smart TV, but I saw the 50LN5700 sitting right next to my original choice, and the picture on this one blew my other choice away - Not even close!
I went a little higher on price and bought the 50LN5700, and I am very happy I did. The 50LN5700 shows details on TV shows and Blue-Ray discs that I had never seen before, and it even makes regular DVDs look much better and sharper. It has a very good black level hich makes for a great contrast. It was easy to unbox and set up, everything worked as it should. It's several months later and the picture quality is still catching my attention every time I turn it on, and I can't say anything more positive than that!
