[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this TV. I am so thrilled with this product. It shows clearly and all the features are sharp. I reccomend getting a bang for your buck and being the envy of your neighborhood. Everyone would love to be at your housing watching the football game!

Horrible TV Here

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own tons of LG products. Washer and dryer, Cell phone and Refrigerator. I figure it was only right to have an LG tv. Well, a year after purchase, my back-light goes out. LG fixes it for me. 7 months after repair, it happens again! Back-light goes out! LG fixes it once more. EXACTLY 7 months after the second repair, guess what happens??? You got it! it goes out again!!! This time, LG Refuses to fix it knowing the track record with this train wreck of a TV. Stay away from this model at all costs!
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Picture went out after 3 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a nice tv while it lasted, but the picture went out, and it's only 3 years old. Several people on various message boards have had the exact same problem: the screen goes dark but the sound keeps going. It sounds like a backlight issue, but since the warranty is only a year, I'm stuck paying for it myself. May as well buy a new tv... most likely not an LG.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in mid 2014. We don't own cable and only used for video games and movies. Hardly ever used for extended amount of time. Not even used daily. Screen burnt out. Disappointing. Rather good tv for the approximate 3 years. But for the price a little over a half a grand I was expecting more than 3 years worth.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Death of a TV

I've had my LG 47LN5400 for 3 years and used it as one of 4 TV's in the house. Recently the backlight failed and it no longer display images. First it started blacking out after 10-15 minutes of use then it just failed. It's not worth repairing so I will likely purchase a different brand this time around.
