Very good led tv for the money

The picture and sound are great. The price was reasonable. I do not need all the bells and whistles, so the basics on this TV was perfect for me. I also like the follow up e-mails from LG with information (lots of good info.) on the model purchased and suggestions for optimal picture quality.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

LED Backlight died after 14 months

LED Backlight went out 14 months after a purchased it. This is the second LG TV in last years that died on me. Luckily, I purchased a extended warranty.

Panel Failure

Like all the other posts, we had the TV for just over a year and it went black. Warrantee or not, if LG knows these TV's are failing like this, they should do something to compensate.

Poor Product

I seem to have had the same issue as others with the LED lights going out and the screen turning black. I must be really lucky since it lasted 5 years! LED is not new technology so it must be a quality issue with LG. I'll find another manufacturer while I'm shopping for another TV.

Only thing I wish the TV had is an additional HDMI port (has two) or composite port (has one).
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, energy efficient

Trash after 2 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV and was very happy with it , then out of nowhere the backlight went ! Just shy of its 2 year birthday! Brought is to a repair shop and was told it's not worth fixing ! I'm so disappointed! I'll never buy another LG product again !
