Outstanding picture quality and no comple features

This TV has best picure I have seen on any TV. I like the fact that is a simple TV wihout attempting to serve all electronic functions that are better served by other devises.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Quality

I have owned this TV for a little over a month now. I have two other HD LCD TV's in the house, all from different manufacturers. This one in terms of picture clarity and ability to keep up with motion is the middle of the three. It simply blurs too much when watching sports with fast motion like football. It's still a nice TV and I don't regret the purchase since it is more for the kids than for me.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

Good product, but could use more features

I have owned the 47" LN5400 model for about two months now and have been pleased with its performance and value. The picture is very good. It is very lightweight and easy to put together and use.
The input plugs are very limited so I am not able to connect auxiliary pieces of equipment to the TV. Wish there were more options available.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality

Yery good value. Easy to set up, good picture. I found the remote very easy to use even without reading manual. With cable or dish service a person usually does not use tv remote much, but when you do want to use it it is so easy to use you do not even have to remember how. For a senior person that makes it great.

I've had this television for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier. Well, maybe if I got a soundbar, but that's another issue. This was easy to setup, the picture quality is excellent, and I love the automatic brightness adjustment when the room is brighter or dim. Love it,

Great TV, but missing a few features

This TV is a really nice step up from my last one (although any TV would have been) and I absolutely love the picture quality on it. The energy saving features are really nice, too, and it has an ample amount of settings that allow the user to configure the TV to his/her liking.
There are a few things I felt it was lacking. I'll list them in order of least to most important.
1) It could have one more HDMI port. 2 ports just doesn't seem like enough in this day and age. Not a deal breaker, but 3 ports would have been nice.

2) The speakers on the TV are rather terrible. I wasn't expecting it to come with B&W quality speakers built into it, but they're pretty bad. This seems to be a common theme for LG products - my LG phone and other LG devices had rather lackluster speakers - I realize this is a budget product, but they could increase the quality just a tad.
3) So I wouldn't really be so upset about my complaint above if they just had a few audio out options. They don't. It's either optical out, or nothing. I do have an old school McIntosh system that doesn't have an optical in option! So my choices are either buy a new receiver with optical in, or buy a converter box. I can't believe LG would leave out an RCA out feature. Isn't this basic? I'm very disappointed in this, especially since I saw no indication of this in the store advertising materials, so I didn't realize this until everything was set up. I ended up just getting a optical to analog (RCA) converter.
Anyway, so TV quality is great considering the price point, but could use a few more features here and there. Disappointed in the TV not having an RCA out for audio as an option. B+ rating.

Panel Failure

Like many others here, my panel has developed large black 'ghost' areas after 12 months of ownership that are getting worse by the day. DONE with LG...way too much money for junk like this. Wishing I kept the box and receipt, I would demand my money back...might try to anyway
