Most important thing for any TV is its screen, features aside. This Tv has it covered, beautiful screen,well balanced colours and large viewing angle. Doesn't have too many features,not to many seetings in the menu but it is not a smart tv or a high end product. would recommend
because overall is great value for the money you pay for it.
If you need a great screen and not a smart hub this is the way to go.

Love this TV! I was aiming for Samsung at first, but my son noticed the glare & difference in both TV's. When I asked the store associate, he confirmed the difference!! The Samsung was a couple of inches bigger, but it doesn't matter about the size, it's the quality! Not only that, my son likes to play his video games, I had to show him how to use the input button on the remote, it has options for AV, TV, etc., this TV is easy enough that a 7yr old can notice the diff in quality & can maneuver this TV features!!

I have a few TV's and 2 of them are LG's I really like LG products they have gotten better and better to the point where they can keep up with the Best :) !!!!
Great buy ! We did have a few problems setting this one up picture wise but other then that.... we had to restore it twice ...now it is perfect.

Have has many TV's over my 72 years and this is the best I have ever purchased. Beautiful color, great sound, easy to follow instructions. Purchased it on sale so I got a great value for my money. I would and have recommended to my family and friends. And when we are in market for a newer or larger TV it will be an LG. Thank you for making such a great TV.

What amazing advances in TV's since I was a kid and our first tv was a black and white 20" screen. The colors are brilliant and the screen response is instant. No blurred action scenes. For this old man the remote control is complicated, but perseverance wins out. This is a GREAT TV, and the price was reasonable for the features it parades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this TV (47LN5400) in March 2014 and today, June 2016, the television broke, no picture. Relaxing at home, watching TV and "GONE" the screen turns black, but with sound. Very disappointing because when I bought this LG television, because LG is suppose to be a good brand. Boy was I wrong!! I found out after searching the web, I found reviews of others that purchased the same TV have experienced the same. I will never buy an LG television again. ONLY 2 years and already broken......I will make my family and friends aware of this poor quality TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
