Great TV but no headphone jack

This is a visually great TV. With the better value, less expensive TVs, however, some of the features you might expect are not present. This set has 2 HDMI inputs, 1 component input, 1 usb and the only output is a digital optical out. The specs indicate a headphone out but it is nowhere to be found on my unit. There is only a minijack labelled "service". Since I bought this TV with the express intention of using headphones, I was dissappointed that it was incorrectly labelled in the specifications as having a headphone output.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Somewhat disappointed

Easy to set up, but the picture quality isn't as good as the Samsung this TV replaced. I tried, quite while, to adjust the display features, but finally gave up. Still, it isn't a "bad" picture, just not what I'd hoped for. The retailer offered to send a tech to fine-tune the TV, for something like an additional 20% of the TV's cost. That would have negated the benefits of the set's quite reasonable price. We're getting HD boxes installed today, so hopefully that will help.
Pros: easy to use, easy to install

Loved it until the HDMI ports failed

The picture quality is great and we were very very happy but after less than two years of little use (it is in our vacation home) neither of the HDMI connections work. HDMI 1 stopped working and less than a month later HDMI 2 died as well.

Power supply

The power supply went off in a year and 2 months
But thanks to LG they replaced it
I would definitely recommend this to others as this is a good value for money.
The software can be a more user friendly and intuitive.
Overall an average rating because of the life of the power supply.
The stand can also be a little more stable as it does not keep the TV as sturdy as it should.

I am super thrifty and about to get married. I did my research and this tv was the best value fro me. I use it to pretty much only watch tv, but I have gamed a little on it and it works just fine!! The picture is amazing!! I was worried about the sound when I bought it, but it is really loud. I often have to turn it down. You will not be disappointed with this tv. Lastly, the LED lights do not shine through or create any uneven lighting on the screen. A great product!! BUY it!!!

A Wonderful TV!

We purchased this TV after receiving a tutorial on the different types of TV's on the market and this was just what we wanted! It was a gift to ourselves for our 30th wedding anniversary. Our son liked it so much that we bought another for him for his college graduation. Now that's an LG TV Family! Great price and quality.
