Loved this microwave. Purchased in 2008 and it just stopped working this year. We tried replacing the fuse but it didn’t work. We now need to replace it. Do you know of a newer model that would be the same stainless steel color as this model?

Worst Microwave I have ever owned

Long story short, I WAS very excited about my first convection microwave. After 1 year 1 month, it broke. The fan went out causing the megatron to burn up. I had to pay them 75$ just to come to my house, and then more money for the fan & shroud. They did cover the new megatron, which was under warranty. About another 4 months later, it broke down again. Same problem, however the megatron was fine. We replaced the fan & shroud AGAIN. One year later, it broke down again! This time we inspected the megtron a little closer, since it actually melted the fan blade.Looks like when they replaced it, they replaced it with a LG megtron. It also looked bent up. Not much we can do about it now, especially considering the hassle we had with customer service the first go around!!! So I'm just purchasing another on. NEVER purchasing another GE appliance again. In fact I just purchased a fridge, dishwasher, stove and I'm shopping for a new microwave as I type. NONE of which are GE series.

Very disappointed in lifespan

Unit just failed after having it two years. Cost of repair is more than the original cost of the unit. Nothing is made to last anymore.

Fantastic convection microwave

I’ve had this model for 12 years and it’s been wonderful. I used to roast & convection features constantly. Today the dial just stopped working. I’ll start with customer service. I hate to change this one out.

Failed within 18 months

The oven doesn't turn off properly or even sometimes at all. Even after unplugging it and plugging it back in, it still ran. After having a tech come out 3 times for the same issue, it still doesn't shut off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the convection oven so much that I don't have to use my regular oven anymore. The microwave has alot of power so cooking is quick. I don't know what I'd do without it. Saves me so much time in the kitchen.

I loved this combination microwave convection oven! It heated up quickly and was so convenient! So sad to see it’s no longer being made!

Over 15 Years of Reliable Performance

I've had this Microwave Convection Oven for over 15 years and it has been a workhorse in my kitchen. I love the fact that it's both Microwave and and Oven all in one. I use the Oven features mostly when I have a crowd over for dinner as it gives me extra oven space when I need it. The microwave feature works reliably as a microwave should. The backlight on the front panel is getting dimmer now so that I can hardly read what it says so I'm thinking it might be time to get a new unit. I'm so glad GE still makes this as I wouldn't want any other microwave. Thanks for a great appliance for my Kitchen, GE!
