Love this Dock!!!

I purchased the very first SoundDock that come out I believe it was 2006ish for my iPod Classic and I actually still have it which still sounds great. I've since purchased the new one and it's just as great it not better then the first one I got. I love it!

This has been my second speaker Bose and I must say that the sound of this is very good for the size and sounds just as good both indoors and outdoors .

Only works for a while, not long term!

I purchased this for a nice heafty price, about 1.5 years later the sound stopped working because where you dock the ipod - that part came very loose, so I had to move it around and hold it in place to work, it eventually just fell apart - the entire docking part came out. Very angry about this as it was awesome when it worked!

VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT

Trying to use with my IPhone 6. I've had a terrible time with the remote. Songs start and stop, start again. Sometimes won't play at all. Sound is good if you can get it to work.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to learn you're having such a difficult time and would like to assist. The issue may be something as simple as taking your iPhone out of its case and making sure that you've made a good connection. Please reset the speaker by allowing it to remain without power for at least 1 minute, then after removing your phone from the case please dock it and try to play your music.

No very handy because you have to take your iPhone out of the case for it to fit properly on the connection. Can't use it.

Hello Jerry,

Thank you for the review. We appreciate the feedback. With the SoundDock III, you may need to remove the case in order to dock the iPod or iPhone. However, one option is a case with a removable bottom for the dock connector which would allow you to use your iPod/iPhone without having to completely remove it from the case.

Sounds great, remote SUCKS

Just bought this to replace two docking speakers from other companies. Had both for years, loved them, but both have stopped working. Always wanted a Bose. Sound on this is great. Volume is better than either older system. However, the remote, which is the only way to control the system, is nowhere near as good as the other brands. My older systems would allow me to scroll through albums or artists. Apparently, the only way to maneuver on this remote is through playlists. I'm disappointed that a product the level of Bose doesn't give the control over my music that other, cheaper, products did.

Good but for ipod only

Works fine with an ipod, sound's great, but trying to use the aux so I can listen on other things and that, so far, has not worked...
