Backing up data is so frustrating I don't do it often; which means this is not good for work or school. The average amount of time to backup my data is 4 hours. It has taken 8 hours a few times. I am tired of this. They fix Kies and it works for a few weeks; backups take maybe 10 minutes and then they update and it goes back to slow or not working. I have had it about a year now. I like being able to create Snotes with handwriting and pictures and type. But I want backups and it doesn't backup Snote at all even when Kies works. I had to come up with a workaround. I like to use the Spen to edit photos. Backups of photos is ok if Kies is working but I also copy to PC so I can get to it quick. And if a document disapears and you want to replace it with a backup ... you have to restore all your documents not just the one. So I had to find a workaround for that. I got the 16GB one since it takes a SD card. After almost a year I filled it up and wanted to put stuff on a SD card. Nowhere was it mentioned before buying that you CANNOT PUT APPS ON THE SD CARD! I did a lot of research before buying it too. I could go on but I am angry. I used to like it, see my other review, notice how long I had it, and NO I don't own 2 SGNote 10.1s Samsung can't even get that correct. (I wrote here because you can't update a review)
Pros: Built-in speakers
Cons: impossible to keep data backed up., kies seldom works, you cannot put apps on the sd card, a bit heavy for an ereader, view is like widescreen movie so docs look funny
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I truly enjoy using my Note. The ability to write searches and not type is great.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

unable to print, need a samsung printer

From this tablet unless you have a samsung printer, so if I need to print I have to use my laptop
That is a big factor for me and anyone else who has a samsung tablet and does not have a samsung
Printer, samsung you need to change and come out with a product that you can print no matter what printer you own, people are not going to go out and buy a samsung printer , for this reason I will no longer buy a samsung product.

This product has great features but some programs requiring flash doesn't work. As the next generation in samsung products, it should compete with its rival apple in all aspects where you should be able to create or edit music tracks, vocals etc...
