Even if you're not a fan of the Firefly tv show or haven't seen much of it, this is a very entertaining movie to watch. It helps fill in some of the character back story from the tv series and moves the story right along.
For me, it was the witty banter between the characters that really is the icing on the cake.
This is a very well rounded movie with a good mix of action, drama, comedy and a good ending (even if we fans of the show never see a new series come from this.)
