I chose this product because it had excellent reviews, but out of the box it didn't work at all. It appeared to be functioning, but no mist would come out. I'm sure that, when it does work, it is a great product, and I owned a previous animal from the Crane series before with no issue. However, I don't want to take a gamble when making a purchase, so I can only give it two stars. Eventually I exchanged it for a humidifier from a different brand and didn't have a problem with that one.
