Good, but broke after 6 months of good use

I only used a Galaxy S5 with Spigen Tough Armor case with this product to give you an idea of supported weight.
Pros: Sturdy and doesn't wobble much while driving. Rotation is very good to get your device facing vertically or horizontally and does it easily. Suction to windshield is very good and withstands in-car temperatures of 120 degrees (it will sag from more pliable plastic, but does not fail, and easy to adjust back into position). Holds phone in the desired position really well. Clamps are easy to tighten and release. Not tested, but the clamps are wide enough to be able to hold a Galaxy Note phone.

Cons: Gears for clamps are all plastic. This product only lasted me 6 months of moderate use (maybe 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, usual driving). The problem was that the clamps no longer held the phone in place. They would freely open up with minimal pressure. I opened it up and one of the smaller gears was stripped half way of its teeth, which caused one of the gears to rotate freely.
