This gizmo for holding my Galaxy 7 is well constructed, and will hold your phone well. I would have kept the item but unfortunately my windshield angle did not accommodate the holder in a position where I could see the screen while driving. BUT, I would recommend it if you have a more vertices windshield. PS: Well constructed and suction works very well.

Stays put on window

The suction cup has never fallen off even with an otterboxed S5in the holder. So far has stayed even in 100 degree outside temp durring the summer and down to near freezing here in the fall. You can adjust the arm without it coming off as long as you dont manhandle it. The holder took a little bit to figure out how to use it with a phone horizontal but finally figured it out and can hold even an Otterbox. Easy to put in and only had the phone fall out once but I probably didnt close the holder enough.
