Works good on my windshield

Suction cup did not stick to my padded dash but it has been holding on to my windshield for weeks now (phone only mounted when I'm using it). Phone mount easily detached from suction cup strut. Strut is very flexible and holds position, and is a bit distracting even when phone is mounted. It's a bit too far away for iPhone GPS map overview but is OK for path display. It's not that easy to figure out, so take your time and READ THE DIRECTIONS.

After prolonged Use, it starts to fall apart. This is my second one that I have purchased. The problem with this, is that after prolonged use it starts to fall apart. The pieces on the side that hold the phone in do not stay in position after the phone is taken out. If the phone is not in, then the piece starts to rattle because of the pieces on the side that raise and lower do not stay up anymore. I purchased this because I went on a 19 day road trip, and after 3300 miles, I had to swap it out at a best buy in the Boston Area. I then had to swap it again when I got home to Florida again. It is doing the same thing as it did when I first started to have problems with it in Boston. I would recommend this, but a buyer be ware.

I have tried so many mounts over the years and get frustrated with the quality. The other issue is bounce when the vehicle is moving, the device solved both issues and made it possible for me to use my phones navigation easily.
I was also able to use my camera on my phone to record my drives.
