Great for Long Trips

I purchased this just before I went on a long cross country road trip. It enabled me to mount not only my iPod to my dash, but my phone when I really needed to. The 'flexible' extension is amazing. It's difficult at first but once you get it bent in to the proper shape it's going to hold that shape and not bounce around. It allowed me to set my music up within reach while I was driving and allowed me to take pictures of my road trip from the dash. My only complaint is that the cradle for the device releases a bit too easily on bumpy roads. Otherwise I love it and am very glad I made this purchase.

I'm extremely disappointed about how often the mount that holds the gps unit falls off of the suction arm. The price of this product is to high for such por craftsmanship.

Good Universal Phone Vehicle Mount

I was looking for a universal mount to hold the phone when I used it as a GPS while driving. We have two different model phones, and this universal mount is able to hold both phones in their protective cases. We previously had the same model phones, so we had a custom vehicle mount for that one type of phone, but we had to always remove our phone from the case in order to mount it. I love that we don't have to do that anymore. Plus the ability to adjust the grip along with length of the phone allows us to avoid the volume buttons on the side of the phone, no matter which one we mount.
The suction cup also seems to have a strong hold on the glass. I had a suction mount before that would suddenly detach. Haven't had that problem with this one.
