Not designed well!

I've had this unit since March. It worked great for a while but now won't stick to the windshield. Best Buy won't replace it, says I have to call the manufacturer... the manufacturer's website says that I'm responsible for shipping which costs almost as much as buying a new one. Evidently it's not designed to stand up to sunlight which is crazy for a windshield mount.

So I got this to hold my cell phone to take video in my car for auto cross racing. My GoPro camera is junk and this seemed like a cheaper alternative. I have used it once and loved the out come. It stayed in place, held my I-Phone 6 no problem, and was only $20. Very pleased with it. Perfect GoPro replacement.
