[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very accurate watch. Love the health nudges. The heart rate monitor is extremely accurate. The only thing I wish it had is a better way to challenge yourself and others. There are other smart watches that you can be in competition with groups even if you don't know them. It would message ypunand day so and so just past you by 50 steps. It makes you push further.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Oh how I love my G Watch...

This is a first in LG's Wearables, and remembering that it is a first, it's a great start. I am sure there will be many to follow with much more experience but for now, this is a great watch that compliments my ever so loved G3 phone. It does the thing I need most; ability to ignore a call, take the call on my phone, see my texts and respond to them, see my emails, get notified it is time to drink that needed glass of water that I never remember, quickly do math, write down a fast number or note, find my phone, jump quickly online, check calendar, set alarm, set timer...and play music, all without pulling out my phone (except to make the call or take it). How did I live without this? I really don't know lol...thanks LG for making my life simpler!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, ability to add apps

Problems with new watch

Just got the LG G W100 Black as a gift. Having problems syncing it. I did get it to sync once - but then got the "google services is unavailable" message. Now I reset the watch and deleted and reinstalled the Android Wear app and I can't get it to sync

Looks nice and functions well

I had a rough start with this watch. The battery was drained in less than 5 hours. I reloaded the OS and it has been fine ever since. It has good battery life, nice looking display, touch is very responsive and it has nice features. Stays connected to my G3 phone and reconnects quickly when I go out of and back in range.
It would be nice if LG offered a metal band. The resin band is cheap, I had to buy an after-market metal band. The watch feels sturdy although I don't want to put it to the test. Overall very satisfied.

Makes your life so much easier

I have always wanted a smartwatch. However I had trouble deciding whether it was even necessary to have one. Then I saw the lg g watch. Today I am glad with my purchase and here is why:
Design:
The simplicity of the lg g watch can be a plus to you or not. For me I love the design. I was able to get a leather watch strap and I replaced that watch strap with the silicon one it comes with. Now it looks very similar (and I was even asked if it was) to the asus zenwatch, known for being the best looking square smartwatch. The charger also makes it easy to plug in as it has magnets.

If you are looking for a fitness watch, this is not for you. Mostly because it doesn't have a heart rate sensor. However for most it is not a deal breaker. The features this watch provides us nothing different than the other android wear smartwatches. But the features of this watch makes your life so much easier. Once you get it you are going to use it more than you thought you were going to.

Battery:
The battery life is amazing! The watch lasts me 2 days without the always on screen (if it is on it lasts me about one and a half days) and on brightness 3. It takes about an hour to charge which is extremely quick.

Performance:
The lg g watch for the most part works well I hardly experience crashes. However, one issue I have is that sometimes, even though you get a notification, the watch does not go off or vibrate. This forces me to restart the watch, however this does not happen too often.

Overall:
I love this watch. It makes my life much easier and has a great design and battery. The only issue is the notification issue as said in the performance section. Overall this watch has great value and I would recommend this to anybody.

The best battery life in its class, no other android wear can top this watch. 3 Days of battery life on the latest 4.4w.2. Perfect for those who have a busy life and constantly have to check the phone.
That said, many owners of LG G watch can confirm that the wrist activation takes too much effort to turn on the screen on, and it pains me that I have to hyper-rotate my wrist to activate to screen.
Double tapping the screen is my alternative, but I would like to read the time without needing to use my other hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using my watch for a month. Very convenient
to get notifications, glance, check, dismiss if necessary
w/o using phone. Abiity to respond works great. Lots of app choices. Lots of faces to choose. I change mine
daily even using some I have made with watchmaker.
Great for the price. Would recommend to all.
