Great "fit" type watch. I like the way you can change the face. My grandson (3) has showed things on the watch that I didn't know it did.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Samsung Gear Fit

The gear fit is a awesome idea but has a poor design the strap is not durable and will break during intense physical activities. Also the fit would be even better if their was GPS capabilities, internal bios that kept track of time instead of having to be sync and did not depend on the data from cell phone.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: wish product was better designed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like this device. It took a little while for the developers to hop on the bandwagon to support it but now it's got a ton of apps available. People comment whenever they spot it on my wrist mainly because of the design, it's very attractive, but the more techy people see it and excitedly start asking questions and want me to take it off so they can play with it. I've had my wear for about 2 years without a glitch. With my routine for charging it I've worked around battery so it's always available. Amazing device.
Pros: Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for Android

This is a perfect Android companion. It tracks your steps, heart rate, shows relevant notifications and even works with any brand, not only Samsung.
It also does work with iPhone, but the battery is dead within a few hours, and by a few, I mean 3 or 4.
Battery lasts a whole day when paired to an Android phone, so I wouldn't recommend this if, and only if, you'll use it with an Android phone.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Durable, lasting battery with android
Cons: bad battery with iphones
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent smart watch with all the features I was looking for.

The Gear Live runs on Android Wear, so there are lots of apps available in the Google Play store and more coming every day. This means I can customize my watch and the apps on it to really fit my life.
The fitness tracking seems to be spot on as far as steps taken, heart rate, etc.
Time, weather forecast, schedule, Google Keep, maps/navigation, (and within the past couple days) Hangouts text messaging...all without having to touch my cell phone. THAT is what a smart watch is supposed to do, allow you to keep your phone in its cover.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

A very solid entry into the Android Wear market

Have been wearing this watch for some time now, and so far, I love it. It's one of the first entries into the Android Wear market, and so far, the list of apps that are compatible are small, but growing.
A few things to know up-front:
* It doesn't have a speaker, so no audible notifications.
* You will need to recharge the watch every night.
* You have to have an Android Phone/Device paired with the watch.
Once you get past those items, the world starts to open to possibilities. In my case, the most unexpected one was to see my Delta boarding passes show up on my phone, so no digging my phone out, just tap my wrist to the scanner. The speech recognition is very good, so the small entry field is not a problem. When I'm in a meeting, it's a nice, discreet way to check on incoming emails (so far, you can only interact beyond reading with the GMail app but this is Google's issue to fix) or text messages through the hangouts app. You do get a few looks when you are walking down a hallway and talking to your wrist, but as the wearable market gets larger and more accepted, this will fade. My one big complaint is the charger. The stock one is a snap-on plastic adapter that converts a microUSB to charge. I'd personally love to see a drop-on stand type charger, but I'll live.
From the aesthetic side, on my large wrist, it fits pretty well, but people that have smaller wrists may think that the watch face is a little large. The included band fits well, but don't be surprised if it takes a little while to get used to the way it closes. Unlike most every other watch I've seen, this one has two pins that "click" into the holes on the other side of the band. Strange at first, but you quickly learn how it works and it becomes second nature. I would also like to see a metal "bracelet" style band produced that can be swapped out for a more business-like appearance. Speaking of the band, changing them is simple, since the pins have a lever that you can easily slide back to allow you to replace the band if you need to. No more using a knife blade to wedge in and try to remove the existing band.
*This may be addressed in a future release, but the pedometer and heartreate features do not integrate with the S Health application on my Galaxy S5, but with Google Fit on the horizon, this isn't a big deal to me so far.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, runs android wear not tizen
Cons: charger is a little strange.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Samsung Gear Live Amazing Android Wear Smart Watch
on September 7, 2014

I have always wanted a Smart watch. I researched the Gear2 and the Neo2 and decided to buy the Neo 2 based on cost and features.
I went to buy it locally and found out there was a newer watch out The Gear Live. I decided to buy the Gear Live instead because it cost the same as the Neo2, the Android Wear operating system and it is compatible with phones running Android 4.3 or later.
Yes, you will need to charge the watch once a day but it charges very quickly. This may improve as they further optimize the Android Wear operating system.
The charger clips on the bottom of the watch and can be a bit strange at first. I surely didn't want to break it since I cannot buy an extra one yet.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, android wear, compatible with phones running android 4.3 or late
Cons: weird charger
I would recommend this to a friend!
