Don't buy

This is about one foot from the antenna and the music to static ratio is horrible. The auto scan feature makes poor choices. Lastly the lack of a preset station feature make this a poor choice if you live in an area where you have to change frequencies a lot.

overall i wish i had a hardwire setup for my touch in my car, but because its a little older i figured i would try a fm modulator, overall disappointing, mostly a waste of $60, the transmitter is so weak i can't find a good channel, even when i am driving in the middle of nowhere between two smaller cities

What's not so great: terrible reception

Had good sound quality but it kept loosing power for some reason. Tried it in multiple vehicles. Not worth $70

A nicely designed unit, fairly easy to use, FM transmission can be staticky so it is not clear and sounds like a bad radio transmission. But cheaper than buying a car with Bluetooth.

I purchased this FM transmitter for my 2002 Ford Focus. I couldn't ever get a clear enough signal to play my music. The remote on the cord is cool in theory, but it doesn't work very well and requires equal, if not more attention, than controlling my music straight off of my phone. Smart tune doesn't really work. It's essentially a glorified phone charger.
