I am absolutely blown away with the brightness and the quality of the picture. I spent a lot of time researching projectors and so glad I did, and purchased the Epson 3500. I am not easily impressed but this projector stands out in brightness, color level, contrast ratio, and ease of set up. I am projecting at 150" diagonal and the picture is stunning. I recommend this projector to anyone looking to get in to the larger screens. You won't be disappointed.

Very good Projector

I love the projector. Watching hd movies on the moderate bright room which has big windows.
Im using the wall to project. Once the wall is not getting the direct light, it is perfect. Room can be little bright but more darker is better. I also use the speaker comes with it.

Can't Miss

I owned the 2030 for a couple years and was happy with it. I thought about upgrading but worried I spend more for the same picture quality as the 2030. I gambled and bought the 3500 and wow, it is an upgrade, with a brighter, clearer, sharper picture and good black levels. The difference between the 2030 and the 3500 is very noticeable and the 3500 clearly wins. You can't miss with 3500!!

I love my Home Cinema 3500 2D/3D Full HD 1080p 3LCD Projector! Got it a few days before Super Bowl 50 and I have been using it on a daily
basis down in my basement. The picture color is amazing (even without a projector screen/using my beige painted wall). I have watched several movies, Avatar, Goosebumps, and Iron-Man to name a few and I hate that I waste money at the movie theaters. The images are definitely with true-to-life color. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

To 3d or not 3d..that is the question

First off, let me just say that the 2d images, even from an "up-verted" standard DVD are AWESOME. The image detail rivals that of Blu Ray!. The night time scenes "jump" of the screen, again, with great never before seen detail (with respect to my older Epson projector). LOVE the LENS SHIFT. The 2d to 3d conversion was a bit disappointing. It really worked, but it "reformatted" the picture. Always to a smaller size. Didn't like that. Plus, there seemed to be a "cupping" of the picture (curving on the bottom). Bottom line: FANTASTIC MOVIE quality picture in the 2d mode, not so much in the 3d conversion mode.

Great product

Used for about a month easy set up I heard some concerns about fan noise I do not hear any the picture quality is great even in daylight I have in a building I built with at least 20 windows and no curtains and I watch it day and night I have my computer hooked up to it for All sorts of movies and searches the quality of the projector was a lot more than I expected and am plaining on replacing the living room TV with a 3500.

Take Me To The Movies -- At Home

This model is quieter and more compact than other Epson projectors I have owned. Picture vibrancy and clarity are excellent out of the box. To achieve even better image quality, I had a local electronics store's technicians professionally calibrate the projector.
Set up is easy. Framing takes perhaps five minutes. Going through the rest of the menu took perhaps another ten or twenty minutes.
I have never been interested in 3D, however, since several blu-ray movies in my home video library have both blu-ray 3D and blu-ray on the same disk, I tried out the 3d feature.
Wow! After viewing two films in 3d, I went to a local electronics store and purchased several more. Now, my family and friends love to visit. First, we stop at our local electronics store and pick up the newest blu-ray releases and select those with 3d when available.

Fantastic bright clear picture, even in a well lit room. This projector looks great on my 106" screen.
The fan is a bit loud, but I don't notice it.
