I should have gotten the Bissel. This cleaner does alright on cleaning but more from your own efforts than its. There is no heating element. You add the hot water. The water/detergent fill tank is hard to position so that it locks in place and generally leaks as you are trying. I was attracted to the fact that it had a separate tank area for clean water/solution and one for waste water, but its sad that that has become the only thing I like about it. It cleans alright if you don't mind the hassel, but considering how much this thing costs, its not worth it.
What's great about it: Cleans carpet good
What's not so great: There is no "steam" to it, hard to put fill tank back in, leaky
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product is amazing. I never used a carpet cleaner before in my house. I own a dyson, and I thought that got my carpets clean, however this unit pulled more dirt out of my carpet. It was amazing. It's easy to use and durable.
Some of my favorite features of this unit:
A) Tanks on the outside, easy for me to get to and clean and replace liquids.
B) Auto Rinse- I feel that I get all of the soap out of carpet
C) Auto height adjustment- the unit adjusts the height automatically
D) Heated Cleaning- I was told by a best buy associate that this gets around 90% of the water out of the carpet. That's way better than I was expecting. The associate told me that Hoover blows the heat off of the moter onto the carpet to spead up the drying time.
The biggest downside is the weight of the unit, but they are all that heavy. All I need now is a Floormate so I can do my kitchens and bathrooms!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the worst Carpet cleaner i have ever owned. very cheap. 1st use the dirty water tank Handel broke the brushes do not hardly touch the carpet or floor. a bottle of resolve works better. i am scared to touch it because something may break on it! BIG WASTE OF MONEY.
What's great about it: the power Cord works!
What's not so great: Everything!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this machine as well as the Hoover cylconic at Best Buy last night. I was a little hesitant about buying this machine after reading some of the negative ratings, but I'm very happy I did!
Putting this machine together was easy! I can tell the machine worked because the dirty water container was very gross!
I am very satisfied with my purchase!!
What's great about it: Cleans my house!
What's not so great: A little heavy
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this unit after reading all the good reviews. As a “pro,” putting the unit together was easy.
For “cons,” my unit does not have either a good suction or strong spray. I can use the unit on all my house but there is very little water in the dirty tank and the carpet is barely wet. At the same time, the clean water tank almost full, while the soap tank almost empty (I have a big house) . So for now I put water in the soap tank (you must have the soap tank full or the unit will not operate correctly).
I called the support, and they recommended to exchange it (but I decided not to). Also it has a squeaky noise from the wheels, which the support techy said could be fixed with some grease (but I have white carpet). It’s very loud so I wear a headset to protect my hearing.
I think it’s my luck because other users did not report any of these problems.

We have rental properties and this steam cleaner is a life saver. It is heavy to lift but easy to move around the room. It does not have it's own heat source for the water but if you put the water in hot... it seems to work great.
I would recommend this to a friend!
