SHIPPED TO MY HOME AND CAME IN DAMAGED DUE TO VERY POOR PACKAGING BY YOUR WAREHOUSE SHIPPING DEPARTMENT. IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE SHOT THE STEELBOOK WITH A BB GUN. STEELBOOKS SHOULD BE SHIPPED ONY IN BOXES, NEVER IN THE BAGS THAT BB ALWAYS USES!!!!

Saw is an example of a movie done right. It was creepy, a lil scary at times for some viewers, it had alot of suspense and the acting was pretty good too. The story wasnt bad either and the music, especially the main score of the movie has now become iconic and is just perfect for this movie and really helps you get into the movie. Highly recommended this any fans of the horror genre of movies and maybe even casual movie watchers too because its honestly a really good movie.

Another torture film

This was just another torture film that helped launch the genre into popularity. It has no real suspense, and an only mildly intriguing storyline. The plot is better than those other movies like it, but it is still the type of film that is peeling away any chance the horror genre will have at respect and true greatness.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The movie that would set up for years of bad movies every halloween. The movie sucked from the start. Everything was boring being stuck in one room the entirity of a movie.

good movie and makes you think. its a very twisted movie and you definatly need to pay attention to details. must also get saw 2 and saw 3.
What's great about it: intense, bloody, twisted

I think the movie was good. It had a story line which for me is good cause you can follow through whats going on. Not enough blood i thought it could have been more.

I didn't like this movie the first time I saw it because of the bad acting. I did like the plot and saw the sequels because I felt the filmmakers could do a lot with the story. The second time I watched this movie, however, I was blown away and enjoyed it immensely. The special edition's documentaries are great. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: uncut presentation, good extra features
What's not so great: none

This movie was a straight trip with all the different flashback, and killer traps that would have your flesh crawl. You have never seen or heard of a killer like Jigsaw, because never killed anyone. Pure greatness
