Cracked Crock Pot

I bought this crockpot (SL400-B-SL) about 4 years ago. I live alone, and I only use it about 5-6 times a year. Today after using it to make a pot roast I pulled the disposable liner out and discovered a big hairline crack that I could feel on both the inside and outside with my fingers. Is there a recall on it?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor tripod foot design for the oval shape.

Smaller than I thought, but my issue is the oval shape, and the tripod foot design. (This would work just fine if the unit were round, but it doesn't work well on an oval shape.) Makes it easy to accidentally tip. Other than that, it does what a basic crock pot does, so it's not awful, just moderately annoying. The photos on the package do not illustrate the fact that the crock is oval rather than round, so I feel it's misleading marketing as well. I really miss my old, round, larger Crock-Pot; alas, the crock broke, I needed a new one immediately, and the local selection was very limited.

Nachos!

We use this slow cooker for potlucks and to keep food warm. Like beans, or nacho cheese 🤤. We've had it for over 8 years and it still works great. We do recommend it.

Long lasting crockpot

I have had this crockpot for over 10 years now and it still works great. The temperature control is great. The capacity of the crockpot is great for my family. this is one bit crockpots that I have but I do want to update my and potentially going to stick with the same brand because I love it.

Yes! I like to use this mostly for items that need to be made into smaller quantities like cheese dip or little smokies and other appetizers. I also bought one for my daughter to have in her dorm. She would throw in some frozen chicken breast, cover with a mix of milk and Cream of Chicken soup, sprinkle in some ranch seasoning, turn on HI, and depart for class and work (approx. 6-8hrs). When she came home hours later, she would cook noodles or cook rice in her rice cooker for her roommate or herself. I highly recommend these as graduation gifts as well.
