This product has a manufacturer problem

After about a year, the TV started cycling on and off. I had been performing firmware updates regularly. It started out intermittent and now today as soon as I plug the tv in it starts cycling. I looked up the problem online and it seems that this issue is a common problem for all Samsung tvs going back quite a few years so it seems that they have not fixed the problem in newer tvs either. I am hoping to get this issue resolved, but if I end up paying for the repair, I will not buy anything else Samsung again.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Recycling Issue

I have had the same problems that other people have had with the TV recycling on and off. I researched the problem and found this is a common problems with Samsung TV's.
I took the TV to the repair shop, and to repair it it's going to be a few hundred dollars. I have decided that instead of fixing the TV I'm going to buy another TV but not a Samsung. And this time I'm getting the extended warranty.
I had a really bad 2014, and to top it all off my TV goes out just as the warranty expired.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I did a some research to educate myself about Smart TV's prior to making this purchase, and it became apparent to me that Samsung is so far ahead in the development game, that buying was a no-brainer. The picture quality and feature set are amazing and the overall design is complimentary to the rest of my A-V gear. This set is replacing a 10 year-old digital rear projection set and I gotta say I am reliving the HD revelation all over again! The mesh with my PC's and Galaxy Note II is seamless and exponentially multiplies the usefulness of this set and transforms it from a mundane TV into an entertainment device. I'll never look at TV the same way again

We love this TV. It produces a crisp picture with vibrant true to life colors. It starts quickly (some TV's in this class are slow to start), has good sound quality built-in, and truly is a smart TV. We would certainly recommend this TV.

Having already purchased other Samsung products, I knew what I was in for. The Smart TV is fantastic! I wish my other TV was a Smart TV too. It has SO many features, and is easy to navigate through. I do not have any regrets from this purchase!

Great Television

I was very surprised at how easy the set-up process and how easy to it is to use. We are not very tech savvy and were concerned that we would have a difficult time understanding and utilizing the features but that was definitely not the case. Very nice.

Faulty picture after 14months

The bottom part of the TV turned darker than the top part after 14months (warranty out).
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
