i think that this will be another great game, there hasnt been one smash bros. game that has dissapointed me yet. Even though Nintendo set back the release date to february, i honestly think its worth it, because i would rather have a game done correctly than a game with bugs in it. I think the new characters will be a great expansion in it!
What's great about it: super smash bros. need i say more?
What's not so great: release date extended, made alot of people mad

To correct alittle mistake best buy has made, this game is not a 1 player game. It is a 4 player game that is also wi-fi enabled so your able to play against players all around america. If you want more info on this upcoming game check out www.smashbros.com. you will be able to get info on the game straight from Sakurai (Sora) himself. Not only that, can also check out videos, music and info on the characters in the game. For you casual gamers out there that have a wii and want to see what the fuss is about the Smash Bros series, then look out for Brawl March 9th. You won't be disappointed.
What's great about it: Incredible roster, great music, awesome multiplayer

While the Best Buy information section says that this game is only going to be one player, it is obviously wrong...even the Nintendo website says that it is for up to 4 players. DO NOT let this misinformation from Best Buy deter you from buying this game! If it is anything like Super Smash Bros. Melee, you will still be playing this game when the next one comes out! I have been playing Melee pretty much everyday and I'm still not tirede of it!
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Well, I haven't played it yet, but I own the two previous games and there are none in them!

This is the long awaiting sequal to the Super Smash Bros. saga. The creators literally went all out on this game. Adding tons to new Items, Stages, and best of all Characters. You know that if a game gets pushed back for 2 months or more, that its going to be good. The game is very fast moving and fluent, quite a bit faster compared to the Game Cube version. However, I feel that game is much more balanced now, although we will see what happens when other tactics come out (ie. wavedashing in melee). Honestly this game is like Halo to Xbox, if you own a Wii you have to get this game, If you dont own a Wii i suggest you go get one so you can get this game.
What's great about it: The 3rd in the best selling super smash bros series, it will surely not be disappointing.
What's not so great: No online ladder rankings, I dont even think it records your win/loses. Also im not sure if you able to co-op online

Now that the long awaited Super Smash Brothers Brawl has been out for awhile, I can give it a fair review. The first thing I noticed when playing the game was that there were four different control options. Since I played Super Smash Brothers Melee for about 200 hours I have been using the gamecube controller. The controls haven't changed a bit which (for me) is great, I loved melee's controls. If you don't like the default controls you can create a nickname and customize the controls so that whenever you play with that nickname your customized controls are in effect. The graphics are spectacular for the wii, there just downright amazing. The only complaint I have is that when you aren't up close to your character they can look a little jagged, but that is a total nitpick. The music in Brawl is also amazing featuring basically every theme song as well as backround noises that you can imagine. There are mainly songs from the characters actual games but even that is an enormous selection. There are even a few original and modified songs. The character selection is immense with a total of 37 characters each requiring different skills and strategy. There is a total of 38 stages each with unique twists and turns. There is a shallow stage editor with few parts to start with but you can unlock others. Even after you have unlocked all the parts there are still not very many parts. You can build a variety of stages however. There is a learning curve, you won't actually build a good stage until you've built about 5 stages. The local multiplayer is as fun as ever with timed, stock, coin, and bonus brawl. There is also a custom brawl that is wacky but fun with many options. The online play was probably the most looked forward-to part of brawl. When you play with a friend the connection is fairly good, but there is occaisional lag. Random online play has lots of lag. The lag really destroys the experience because lag can give other players a chance to see what you are doing and give them time to dodge a oncoming attack. There are two singleplayer modes this time around Classic and The Subspace Emissary. Classic is basically the same as in Super Smash Brothers Melee and just as fun. The Subspace Emissary however is a modified Adventure Mode. The TSE (The Subspace Emissary) is a story about how all the characters meet up and fight this big bad guy to save the world from turning into subspace. You play through a series of boring and repitive missions throughout. The good part of TSE is how the story moves forward, which is by amazing cut-scenes. The animation in the cut-scenes are the best I've seen on the wii and sets the bar for future cut-scenes on the wii. Super Smash Brothers Brawl offers great graphics, music, controls, character selection, & stage selection. Super Smash Brothers Brawl has great multi-player action offline and some online. The single-player isn't great but can give you something to do when your friends can't play you online or offline. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being perfect and 1 being horrible) Super Smash Brothers Brawl gets a 9.3 out of 10.
What's great about it: Great Graphics for the wii, lots of control options, Amazing soundtrack, Large character & stage selection
What's not so great: lag online and The Subspace Emissary

I personally think that it is one of the best games for the Wii. Also in my opinion it is the best in all of the seris. I love the subspace emmisary, all of the characters, new power-ups and that you can use the gamecube controller. My favorite part is the addition of Sonic, Snake, Pit, and Wario. I also liked how they got rid of Dr. Mario, Mew 2 and Roy. The only thing that can be inproved is the online gameplay because you can't play with your friends.
What's great about it: Subspace emmisary, the additon of Snake and Sonic and the new power up balls
