SSBB was the most highly anticipated game to come out this year and to say it lived up to its expectations would be to tell the truth. The game's new story mode adds a sense of purpose to all the fighting while giving gamers a story line to unravel and to enjoy understanding. While the game harks back to its predecessors, it attempts to break new ground in all the previous areas and manges to succeed in most: the new characters and updated graphics help to show that this game is a powerful new addition to the SSb series. Where the games fails lies at simple things that I feel really perturb me as I play the game: first off, the long load times really bother me sometimes due to the time spent sitting in front of the screen waiting for something to jump out and say "Ready, go!". I know i sound impatient but wasn't the whole waiting for the level to load thing left back during the 90's? After that i feel the ability to save without realizing where you're saving proves to be a bothersome problem ever since my little sister saved over my nearly completed game. And finally the fact that some of the characters do not seem to be very well of in terms of fighting ability or any remarkable ability what so ever: for example, Olimar's attacks quite frankly don't do enough to do anything against someone like mario or DK . Ganandorf's speed and lack of sword fighting ability makes him a weak character as well. Maybe its just me but when i try to use those characters i end up losing most of the time despite having learned most of their moves. In the end, I would say that SSBB is worthy of a five star review withholding my little pet peeves. Let's just hope that the next version will be able to allow us to play for long hours and still manage to keep our social lives from falling into a black hole.
What's great about it: Story mode, more characters, sharp graphics, unlimited playability
What's not so great: long load times, too easy to save over someone else's game, some characters are designed to never be played

This game rocks. I has all your favorite Nintendo characters plus well-loved third-party characters Sonic and Snake. The game has different game modes to choose from: solo play, four-player battle, online play, etc. Graphics is the best I have seen on the Wii so far. Replay value is great so your money is all worth the purchase. This is a game that you will play for hours today and for the years to come not until the next sequel to this series comes out.
What's great about it: Lots of game modes from solo play to multiplayer
What's not so great: Slow Nintendi WiFi Connection

I play this game all the time and find absolutely nothing wrong with it. I love playing online with friends or unlocking new things on my own. I recoment this game to the people that don't rave about graphics but just like a bit of oldfashioned action.
What's great about it: online capability is awesome!!!

Wow! this game is awesome. I'm not much of a video game person let alone a Super Smash Bros. person, but I love this game. The controls are very easy to learn and use but there is a level of dificulty in how and when to use these controls that keeps you entertained. Playing with friends is a lot of fun and creates more chaos than usually. The only thing I don't like is that there are not enough characters to choose from, but other than that... Perfect!
What's great about it: easy to use controls yet hard enough to keep you entertained

Brawl is a great continuation of the Smash Bros. series. The graphics are decent for the Wii. The music is great and the gameplay is amazing. I haven't had more fun playing a Wii game. Just like previous Smash Bros games the main focus is multiplayer. This time they even managed to add in online play. The online part was pulled off well except for the lack of communication between players. They improved the single player so even if you can't verse other people very often there is still lots of stuff to do on your own. Overall this has to be my favorite Wii game and I'm sure I'll be playing it til the next Smash Bros game is released.
What's great about it: Multiplayer graphics music everything
What's not so great: Not a huge improvement from Melee

Super Smash Brothers Brawl, the lastest edition to the SSB series is the best thus far. Though it has a lot of similuarites to Melee it brings its own special armada of new features. A new updated list of characters, including sonic, pokemon trainer and metaknight help to make this brawl the best one yet. With so many options to choose from you can easily spend a good month straight of game play and it will never get old. The only thing that could have made this game better is if Megaman could have made the A-list!
What's great about it: amazing graphics, long character list, and online play!
What's not so great: Story line really makes no sense but it was fun to play though
