My BDP-S790 broke and upgraded with this player. It is great in terms of all aspects. But one thing I noticed is sony removed 2 hdmi outputs

i found this bdps 7200 player much better than the bdp s360 I have. this new player plays back almost all formats and decoding the audio is amazing!! the upscaling of even poorer quality videos look amazing too. don't pass this one up!!!!

Excellent optics little weak on sound reproduction

Bought this in combo with BXR 9300 4k. Product integration is just what I was looking for and optics - esp. for old disks upgraded to blu ray - are great. Only downside is weaker than expected sound compared to TV only sound. Still trying to figure out life to limit remotes -TV,blu ray, Xfinity - setup is SMART operator stupid, I guess.

Outstanding Blu Ray Player

I originally purchased the Sony BDP-S6200 and really liked it, but the thing that drove us nuts was every time we turned the blu ray player on with the remote the disc loader would open up. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but a lot of times we just want to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime and if one of my kids turns it on and forgets to close it one of our dogs may hit it and break it off when they are playing around. So we decided to take it back to the store and shop around. We waited a couple of weeks and then saw that the Sony BDP-S7200 was available and so we decided to spend the extra money and give it a try. We have had it for almost a month now and we use it everyday and I have to say that it is by far the best picture and streaming player I have ever used (and the disc loader does not open when you turn it on unless you actually push the button!). I'm upgrading from a 6 year old Panasonic Blu Ray player and this Sony is night and day above the Panasonic.
Overall, probably the best Blu Ray player out right now in this price range. Thank you Sony!
