Works as one would expect a microwave to work. Have not yet used the connection feature. Really like the mute button so if using early in the morning it doesn't wake the whole house with the beeping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This microwave was purchased to replace an GE Profile microwave, same capacity, but the outside dimensions were not the same. Installer had to make some modifications to the opening to get the new microwave to fit without showing the gaps in the wall cutout. This was a little surprising to encounter.

I bought this unit because it is the only microwave i could find that would fit my installation cutout. A previous purchase of the same model number, purchased in 2018, malfunctioned in January, 2023, and completely failed in 3/24. My previous microwave, Amana, lasted 1998 until 2018. I'm selling my house so some else will likely be disappointed in product. But who at GE cares, you got your money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

They do not last

First one lasted 4 years, second one lasted 3 years before the door latch broke and the display went bad. Never again, even if I have to cut up my kitchen wall.

This product is broken after only 1.5 years of use. I called GE to get it serviced but they said they can't service it because it's out of warranty. They recommended I buy a new one.
