Outstanding product

This is my 2nd GE convection oven. I specifically went looking for this particular product because of the long term outstanding service I experienced with my first one. I use this for all of my microwave and baking needs. With the use of a standard pizza pan, I bake my Christmas cookies in this oven. With this in my kitchen I have not had a need to use my standard oven for anything other than cooking utensil storage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We can't open the door and the light doesn't come on. None of the usual instruction materials were enclosed in the box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lacks quality and reliability

After remodeling my kitchen and replacing my appliances with GE appliances, the microwave in the wall breaks (3 years later). Because of the specific size and trim kit, I replaced it with a new GE Profile microwave which doe not look like the original. Less than two months later, the door will not open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

suggested built in surround is not good, but oven

When the microwave is on, it's bottom vent throws moisture down unto the built in oven.
But oven is great.
But oven is great.

We bought this unit several weeks ago after our old one started to fail. I has taken awhile to get used to the different design. We were accustomed to a numeric key pad which do not have in the new one. It will take us awhile longer to get used to the differences.
