Tough Start

We bought our new microwave a couple of months ago and it just stopped working. It seemed as though there was no power at all. The worst part of this experience was not the broken microwave but GE's response. They stated they would come to take a look at it but it it would take 2 weeks to get here. The company that sold us this appliance was nice enough to come take a look but were unable to fix it. So here we sit. A toddler and a baby for whom we need to warm water for bottles and no microwave.
While we liked the microwave, we will unfortunately take this service into consideration when purchasing future appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Modern White

We purchased this particular microwave because our remodeled kitchen was modern and all white. It's very hard to find white appliances that are built-in or can be adapted to appear built-in. This microwave oven fit the bill because it has an optional trim kit which we purchased. The convection feature was an added bonus, but so far we are pleased with the appearance, power and functionality.

This microwave continues to run after door is open. Door latch fails often. Had second one installed to replace first, failed after 24 hours. Will not purchase again.

I AM AN INTERIOR DESIGNER AND USED ALL GE APPLIANCES ON A LAKE HOUSE REMODEL. ALL WERE WITHIN BUDGET AND DESIGNED EXACTLY AS CLIENT WANTED !

Great replacement for my previous model

Although I probably won't use the convection feature, I will definitely use all the others. This is the perfect replacement for my old model that frizzled out after 23 years of dependable service. The turntable is a big plus with this model.
