I love the fact that this microwave also is a convection oven and a broiler. I use the convection feature all the time.

I like that it has a door lock option, which is great if you have little kids & are afraid they might open it during convection cooking

We had to replace our convection oven

We had purchased the GE Profile about 6-8 years ago when we remodeled our kitchen. It died. Needed to replace it as we liked it. There were only two models to choose from. We had to get the smaller GE Profile as we had a built in made for it originally. The news e does not have a lighted panel and the defrost features and other features were changed. Any not in a good way. It still works great. Just hard to use.

Micro died in 18 months. =

This product cooked well, had all the bells and whistles, and did fine, until it didn't. It died after about 20 months, under 2 years of use. It was expensive, and is more so now, so I plan to replace it with something more modest in cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This model is an “upgrade” to the previous version which was discontinued. It is much less attractive, the controls are much harder to use, and the trim kit has ugly visible holes in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
