Great appliance!

This is the second one that I have owned. The first one lasted 16 years before the heating element went. We used it hard too! I just hope that this one last that long too. We use it for cooking, microwaving and even a “lot” of baking. Why heat up the whole kitchen with a big oven when you have this one.

Need assistance ~ recommendations

Recently purchased this microwave to replace my 19 year old JE1590CC 001. Which is bult~in above our oven. Unfortunately nobody can fix it. And all our appliances are bisc color and apparently nobody sells a microwave that will fit in that color either. Very disappointed! So have disappointedly settled on this as a replacement. But need to know if we need a mounting kit to secure it in the cabinet, or if our existing hardware for the old one will work to mount this new microwave. If something new is needed can you please give me a part number. To be clear I mean mounting hardware not a trim kit.

Hi Scottbro - Thanks for your loyalty! The PEB9159SJSS is a countertop microwave oven that is built-in capable with either one of the following optional 27" or 30" wide sleek matching trim kits (there is not a mounting hardware kit available for it):
Optional 27" Built-In Kit - JX9152SJSS
Optional 30" Built-In Kit -JX9153SJSS
Microwave trim kits are not interchangeable so you will need to choose a new trim kit depending on the size (width) of your cabinets.

4 months and already broken

Pricey, small, and already broken. Installed over oven. Went dead after four months while using convection featured. Just went dead. Used very infrequently and already dead. Seriously disappointed, especially considered we had already lived without a microwave for 6 years. Wanted double oven, but figured convection microwave would be good substitute.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE Countertop Convection Microwave

We love our new GE Convection Microwave. The product is an excellent value, and very easy operation. This is our third one, first two in motorhomes. we have had no issues with any of them. Strong recommend the product

Microwave seems to be pretty good so far. It looks very nice installed over the oven with the trim kit. I like the fast minute buttons. I wish that it could be preheated via the app like the oven, and I wish it did air frying as well.

I've had this same brand before, I really like it. Especially in white, the buttons are easier to read. Grt microwave/convection oven. I would definitely buy it again !
