Had one before this one is smaller and buttons are hard to push, actually moves the unit at times

Great Microwave and Convection Oven

This is a fantastic appliance!!! It doubles as a microwave and convection oven. We’ve used both alternatives for cooking and they function absolutely flawlessly! Can not report any complaints. Thank you GE.

Product started humming when door closed. Changed magnetron and it still keeps on running. No part available on the market to troubleshoot

Control Panel Problem

We installed this microwave in a new construction and moved in June of 2019. Less than 2 years later, half of the control panel is out. The service technician just called with an estimate for the repair part, that is almost half of the price of the whole microwave. I may have considered that a fluke until reading a similar review from just a couple of days ago. GE obviously has a design issue or a quality issue, and this is very disappointing considering we furnished our entire new home with GE appliances. At this point, I am not inclined to repair this appliance, nor am I at all encouraged about replacing it with any other GE product. Extremely extremely extremely disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
