Effective and convinient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit for my newly renovated basement. It works well and keeps humidity under control. it's easy to program and unlike most other unit its design allows to keep it against the wall, which is very convenient. However the unit is noisy. It's advertised as less noisy unit than most others and perhaps it is, but it is still noisy. Overall I would recommend this unit. I am happy with how it works. As long as you are ok with some noise when it works, you'll like it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Moisture Remover

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two of these dehumidifiers. They work extremely well!! I have hoses hooked up to mine so the only maintenance is to rinse the filter after 200 hours.

Rids humidity fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to replace a Kenmore. After running for 24 hours, dampness and musty odor was gone from basement. It works great and I have the drain hose running in to the A/C condensation pump.

pretty quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old basement dehumidifier ran alllll the time; and I could hear it all the time!! My new Frigidaire is quieter, does a better job, and with the Energy Star feature I expect to see my electric bill go down. Very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its been in use for a few weeks and the results are amazing. Within 2 days the difference was noticible in the humidity levels. This went into a 1300 sq ft basement and its nice and dry, should have bought one years ago.
Quiet operation and simple features make it a breeze to use. Run a line to drain it or empty the container, doesn't get easier than that!!

No more musty smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit about a month ago to replace an older unit in my basement. Should have done it sooner. What a difference this unit has made to our basement. Following the directions I set it on constant for 4 days. It was pulling so much water out of the air. It was filling up every 10 hours or so. The musty smell went away. I now keep it at 55 now and that seems to keep the musty smell at bay. It is much quieter than my old unit.

Great Performance, Value, Style and Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 15 year unit with this one, it's easy to move around (with carry handle), large 70 pint capacity reservoir, runs efficiently. Every 2-3 days I'm emptying the bin, my old unit every 4-5 days! Relatively quiet. I only wish the full light was brighter so I could see it easier in the basement. This is my third Frigidaire appliance, and I've been happy with each.
