easy to dump the water

Works so much better than my old one

This works great fills up bucket about every 12 hours, keeps moisture at 45%. Only had it about 2 months, hopefully works as well for several years

Good enough

After researching for a while, it seemed like this was the most recommended brand/model.
What I like:
- Tall and slim so that it doesn't take up much space.
- Air intake is on the front, and output is on top. This makes it possible to put it against the wall out of way.

What I don't like:
- Heavy. No way my wife or kids could carry this up and down the stairs. The wheels are smaller than I prefer for such a heavy unit.
- Fan noise. The compressor noise is much quieter than my old unit, and you can hardly tell when it kicks in. However, the fan is constantly on at about "2" level on a normal floor fan. The "High" setting makes not much difference in air movement, nor noise level. I'd much prefer if they had a "quiet" fan mode.

Another Excellent Frigidaire Product

This is to control basement humidity. It is quiet & efficient. It cycles as you would expect to minimize power consumption while doing the job. I should have bought Frigidaire before.

Quiet and efficient

We bought this for a consistently damp basement. We have the unit set up to run continuously with a hose so it essentially runs 24x7, shutting off only when the humidity level is reached. It has worked effortlessly the past several months and we are very impressed with it's quiet operation, especially compared to another brand name unit which we elected to replace with this one. it does an excellent job of maintaining the set humidity level.
I would recommend this to a friend!
