I bought this a month ago and it works better than any dehumidifier I have owned. This unit replaces one I had used for 6 months and it failed.

A work horse

We have a pretty high humidity situation in the lower level of our split level house, so the smaller unit we had stopped working. This one is doing fine keeping the humidity between 50 and 60 percent. Main issue is noise as we run it in the same room as the TV and it can be a little bothersome as it switches on and off to balance the humidity. We often just turn it off while we are watching, so problem basically solved.

Purchased this dehumidifier to replace a dehumidifier that was only a little over a year old. This dehumidifier is quiet and very efficient.

Compressor stopped working

I purchased this unit two years ago to dehumidify the basement. Worked great for two seasons and now the compressor won't kick on. Seems to be consistant with sooo many other reviews
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent performance

We had other brands that always went bad on us even after being fixed. So far this product seems more stable and works well.

I bought this several months ago, but just set it up about 1 week ago. It is fairly quiet and easy to maintain. However, after about a week of use, I am getting a "clean filter" indicator, yet there isn't any debris on it? I will be contacting Frigidaire about this.
