This is just the right size for my basement. The tank is easy to empty and I love the timer feature. Of course the automatic shutoff when full is a must have.

We recommend checking to make sure that the bucket is installed properly if the bucket is not installed it will not operate. We purchased this unit when our old fashioned one seemed to run 24/7 and didn't do its job anymore... What an upgrade! It works efficiently, our basement is dry, and it's easy to hookup to a hose to drain automatically. (We were emptying it nearly every day without the hose attachment.) It definitely has a significant hum to it, but it's worth it to have a dry atmosphere.

In general, I like the dehumidifier

My only issue with the dehumidifier is that when the humidity level get close to the target setting, the unit will cycle on and off very quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
