Great Dehumidifier!

I use this model in the basement. Works very efficently and shuts off when desired humidity level is reached. Quiet, yet powerful fan.

Solid dehumidifier, works great

I bought this unit about 1 month ago and it's been a wonderful experience. We needed the capacity to handle a very humid basement with the beginnings of mold growth. It has worked wonders and eliminated the damp smell/feeling. The noise of the appliance is OK, a nice low hum but it does put out a good amount of heat (nothing that is unbearable though).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does what it needs to do and removes the dampness. Using it in a small basement in the summer though does have some disadvantages. We have the air conditioner on, but this unit put out some hot air. So while the basement is no longer damp, when the unit is running, the basement is warm.

Quiet & efficient

This model is much quieter than the 50 pint unit it replaced. The basement had been without a dehumidifier for about 2 weeks but after several days it had the humidity back to 50% like before.

The way to keep thing dry.

Have had this unit for several months now. It is not the first dehumidifier that I have relied on, but it is the first that actually performs the way it is advertised. In a 500 square foot room, humidity was reduced from 70% to 50% within four (4) hours. The unit is efficient and no louder than other models.

Great Product

Our previous unit (not Frigidaire) finally quit working, but worked well for a long time. The old unit took about 24 hrs. for about the same amount of water. However, the Frigidaire FAD704DWD unit filled the tank in less than 10 hrs. the first day and has been keeping up very well all summer. I'm glad I went with the recommendation I found on the internet to get this unit. It has performed nearly flawlessly. It does heat up the room it's in (also the room our window air conditioner is in which cools our entire home). It also handles the humidity in our entire home just fine, keeping it very, very comfortable.
I would recommend this to a friend!
