Great design and easier maintenance.

I have been using this unit for several months. This unit is much quietier than the other brand that it replaced. This unit has easier methods to conduct routine maintenance.

Good Performance But . . .

We have been using this dehumidifier for most of the summer and it does an excellent job of keeping the dampness out of our basement. However it does use a lot of electricity. My husband measured it with a power meter and it uses nearly 3 times as much electricity as our upright freezer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good for small room

I bought this to reduce humidity in my kitchen, a very small room, but I am not sure this has the capacity to do that. It never stopped running in the highest setting its set to do because I think the room was too big and it was too humid. But it did well for its size.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very powerful

I bought this to keep a 50' storage trailer at the proper humidity level for the antiques that I sell and is doing a great job. It could be perceived as loud if used within a frequently used room in a house, but as it is in an outside storage area, it is no problem.

Performs better than expected. Really pulls the moisture out of our large crawl space. Especially like the fact that the fan does not run continuously. Doesn't come with a drain hose, but we had an extra one. We are very satisfied.

I've been running the dehumidifier for a couple of months now and I'm very satisfied. I don't have air conditioning and live in the Midwest with very humid summers. This is a hard working appliance. It keeps my house comfortably dry. Sturdy bucket. I also like the timer.

This dehumidifier would work for a while and then give me an "EC" error message. I went through the manual and we tried plugging it in different places in the house and it would run for 3-4 hours and then stop with the "EC" message. So, no I was not happy with this humidifier
