Hasn't been time tested yet, but so far so good. Only flaw is clean filter light comes on before filter is dirty, needs resetting...

I bought this about 6 weeks ago to replace a recalled unit from another company. I read all the reviews from several sources, paid close attention to them and to consumer information sites (professional reviews.) This 70-pint dehumidifier seems to be the ticket for our needs. We have it on a constant drain so we aren't concerned with filling the catch bin but the added size of the unit has made a significant improvement in the humidity level in our basement. It is a fairly quiet unit in comparison to the newer gas hot water tank down there and the year-old HVAC unit. We're happy with it so far!

For the money it does what it is supposed to

It does pull a lot of moisture in the house. However it does put off a lot of heat so I recommend putting it in an open area. It is a little noisy because this is a bigger/ industrial sized

Excellent appliance

I have had this appliance for over 3 weeks now and I clearly enjoy it. It really does what it is supposed to do and more. It is very easy to empty and it has safety features to prevent overload.

Very quiet!

We had our last dehumidifier for about 9 years and we loved it. When it stopped working I did a lot of research and decided on this unit and I am glad we did. Our only complaint (which is why it is 4 stars and not 5) is that the water bucket is too small...we end up emptying it more often than we ever had to empty my old one.

I purchased this dehumidifier a few months ago and it works well. I have a finished basement and it keeps the humidity level at a comfortable level.
