The 2nd one I purchased

In Louisiana, I needed a dehumidifier to remove the humidity, after research, I chose the Frigidaire® 70 Pint Capacity Dehumidifier in December 2015. I have been so pleased that it is simple, easy and does the job I bought a 2nd one.

Works great living near a lake

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are pleased with the unit as it keeps the lower level dry and we live next to a lake where it tends to be damp almost year round. Works great on a wall timer to go on and off during the day. We had a problem with one unit and this company was so helpful in getting us another unit very quickly and with little hassle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great by the lake

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a unit had some issues and this company was so helpful in getting us another unit. We live by a lake and very damp most of the year but our lower level is nice and dry. Works great with a wall timer to keep a regular cycle.

This unit was warranty replacement for one that quit within 3 months. This replacement unit is a junker, most likely factory reject used for warranty replacements. It wasn't shipped in retail packaging like ones sold by retailers, it was shipped in brown cardboard box. Such packaging is non-issue, but the unit collects very little water for some reason regardless of settings. Compared to the good unit which I still own, it consistently collets 80% less water when both units run at the same time. If one dehumidifier fills up the bucket, and the replacement collects several cups, it is logical to conclude that replacement unit is junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed in the basement out of concerns for mold. Works well. Reduced relative humidity to 35% within 1 day. Set up the gravity drain, which works fine. Relatively quiet, although it sometimes it vibrates louder than the air flow noise and I re-position in on the floor. I chose the older model which has the air intake in the front and the exhaust out the top for more flexibility in positioning the dehumidifer against the wall. Currently is it located on a shelf above the sink. Nice design.

Don't have to worry anymore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My basement was getting a bit of a musty smell. Not anymore! Due to the large capacity, and specific settings, it runs until it reaches my desired level of humidity and then shuts off automatically. I have it hooked up to a hose so I never have to empty the bucket. It is virtually no work or handling at all and my basement is dry and no more musty odor! I love it!
